About The Event
Up to three volunteers needed to spend 3 full days picking up marine debris on beaches on Elrington Island from July 15-17.
- Roundtrip transportation will be provided by Forest Service vessel for volunteers (must be 18 years or older to ride on the vessel).
- Food and camping gear are not provided.
- A $75 non-refundable registration fee per person is required to reserve your spot.
Trip Difficulty: Difficult- Volunteers must be able to walk on rocky beaches, slippery surfaces, and frequently exit/enter a landing craft vessel. Must be willing to work in rainy conditions.
Volunteers are welcome to arrive by their own vessel. If doing so, please email info@princewilliamsound.org. This registration includes transportation by Forest Service vessel.
