About The Event
Hobo Bay offers spectacular views of Port Wells, along with wonderful opportunities to explore surrounding shorelines, uplands, and the nearby historic Granite Mine Trail. This project focuses on removing invasive dandelions from a popular camping area. This is a great entry-level trip for those looking to get involved in PWSSF stewardship projects.
Please note:
Round-trip transportation will be provided by water taxi for volunteers. Volunteers must be 18 years old or older to participate.
Tools and instructions for weed removal are provided.
A $125 non-refundable registration fee per person is required to reserve your spot.
You are welcome to bring one kayak or one stand-up paddleboard per person aboard the water taxi.
